| July | Elder Nominations Open | Elder nomination form released. Nominees must be recommended in writing by at least three unrelated voting members. Nominations accepted on a rolling basis. |
| July (Continuing) | Elder Nominees Reviewed | Qualified nominees enter the Elder Nominee program for discernment, testing, preparation, and consideration. Not all nominees necessarily will proceed to ordination, either by confidential examination by Commissioning Council or by their own desire to remove themselves from candidacy. |
| August | Commissioning Council Convened | Founding Trustees convene the external Commissioning Council. |
| September / October | Commissioning Council Work Begins | Commissioning Council conducts interviews, doctrinal and character examinations, and background checks in effort to examine and narrow Elder nominees for recommendation to church. |
| October | First Elder Intern Class Narrowed & Published | Commissioning Council finalizes first Elder Intern class (minimum five Elders required). Process summary and recommendations published to congregation prior to congregational affirmation. |
| November | Membership / Covenant Sunday | Public reception and recognition of members and Elder Inters before the congregation. Formal Member Sanctioning occurs later at the Service of Commissioning. |

| Prior to Easter Sunday (March 28, 2027) | Service of Commissioning | Commissioning Council sanctions the church, members, and Elders, and ordains Elders through laying on of hands. Initial Board of Elders formally constituted. |
